March is a special time in the French countryside. The fields are tilled, the seeds are planted and the barn is filled with hay to warm the animals. Le fourche helps finish the farmer’s day, so he can transition to le brasseur. Each March, le brasseur makes a rich amber ale ripe for drinking right away. Our biere de mars is a French play on our Pitchfork, using a bevy of aromatic & caramel malts, followed by a hearty dose of oats and unmated wheat. Full bodied, but not cloying, this beer has attractive esters and stone fruit flavor.
