Piercing through the wood, it cuts ever so gradually. The persistent hard work of a sharp-toothed saw brings the tree to the ground. Just as deep-cutting as the crosscut, this Imperial IPA features an abundant inclusion of fresh grapefruit (pulp and skins) during the brew process. The bitterness from citric acid and aromatic peel mixes with more than 4 lbs of hops per barrel to provide a resoundingly fresh tasting IPA. We called upon our special grapefruit blend of cascade, chinook and belma hops to do the tough job of providing intense citrus aroma.
