The reaper has transformed throughout the history of farming and here we pay homage to the original hand held harvesting tool. Just like farm tools evolve as the centuries pass, so do beers. There is no greater challenge than trying to modernize this century old Trappist ale. We use local honey, NC 6-row malt, a dose of Citra hops for bright aroma, and aging on French Oak to create a flavor bomb that will please both the casual beer drinker and the wine aficionado.
